We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team as a full-time Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant and commercial facilities.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance tasks, identifying and resolving equipment issues, and providing technical support to our operations team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure all services and equipment are in good working condition at the start of each day.
  • Accurately record maintenance times and activities.
  • Assure equipment availability for production and provide maintenance support to the entire site.

Daily and weekly maintenance updates must be provided to our Operations Manager and GM. You must comply with company and legislative requirements regarding OHS and assist management in OH&S duty of care. Supervise work activities to ensure safe practices are adopted and participate in HIRAC hazard identification and risk assessment.

Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Welding or fabrication experience (desirable).
  • Experience using MEX CMMS software.
  • PLC programming skills.
  • Proven track record in achieving KPIs.
  • Detailed understanding of food production processes and equipment.
