Job Opportunity: Maintenance Specialist

The role of a Maintenance Specialist involves performing various tasks to ensure the upkeep and repair of buildings and grounds. This includes inspecting assigned areas regularly, completing scheduled checklists, and repairing fixtures and hardware.

  • Inspect assigned areas and perform maintenance to ensure facilities are functional and in good condition.
  • Complete scheduled checklists for building and equipment maintenance.
  • Repair fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, appliances, and office equipment.
  • Report major maintenance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

This position requires flexibility and adaptability to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, and physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing. Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.

Requirements:
  • Previous maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures due to physical risks involved.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Availability to work flexible hours.
