Job Summary

The Assistant Team Leader plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, well-organized store while assisting the Store Team Leader in creating an exceptional customer experience. This includes supervising store employees, managing merchandise, completing paperwork, and preparing deposits. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong product knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Provide superior customer service by greeting and assisting customers, operating cash registers, and scanning items.
  • Assist the Store Team Leader in creating and supporting a customer-first store culture.
  • Model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance the customer experience.
  • Facilitate merchandising the store to create eye-catching displays and drive sales.
  • Maintain daily and weekly cleaning checklists to provide a superior customer shopping experience.
  • Ensure condense and reset standards are maintained consistently each day.
  • Open and close the store as needed.
  • Assist with scheduling employees, providing training, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring employee compliance with company policies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year of experience in a specialty retail environment preferred.
  • Six months of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
