Category Strategist Role

About the Position

Contribute to category strategy development, manage sourcing, supplier relationship and contract management activities. This role forms a key part of our Supply Chain transformation team, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in business, management, legal or commercial fields
  • Experience in procurement or commercial teams within Supply/Category/Contracts roles
  • A proven track record of cultivating strong relationships with clients and suppliers, delivering value and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to independently manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organisation/time management and problem-solving skills
  • Negotiation skills, with a proven ability to plan and execute negotiations
  • Well-developed verbal and written communications skills, including drafting strategies, presentations, and recommendations
