**Job Opportunity for Registered Nurses**A career as a Registered Nurse in our Youth Health team offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people aged 12–24 with multiple vulnerabilities and/or chronic illness or disability.As a dedicated healthcare professional, you will work collaboratively with internal and external partners to provide seamless, wraparound support for young people.This role involves working with young people who are facing complex health issues, including immunisations, sexual and reproductive health, chronic illness support, and treatment planning.Key Responsibilities:
  • Nursing Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to young people aged 12–24 with multiple vulnerabilities and/or chronic illness or disability.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure seamless, wraparound support for young people.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each young person.

Requirements:
  • Authority to Practice: Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Health Experience: Experience and understanding of health issues facing young people and experience working with vulnerable groups, in particular Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with young people, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills, able to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
