Occupational Therapist - Advanced Practice

This is a fixed-term part-time or full-time appointment until 01/02/2024, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

  • Plan, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate timely and culturally appropriate occupational therapy services for the Midwest region.
  • Deliver advanced-level occupational therapy services.

The WA Country Health Service provides health services to approximately half a million people over a vast two-and-a-half million square kilometer area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in the Midwest region.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and provide interventions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and report on treatment progress.

Requirements:

  • An advanced degree in occupational therapy or a related field.
  • Current registration as an occupational therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Proven experience in delivering occupational therapy services in rural or remote settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
