AbleKids Therapy Service is an allied health practice located in beautiful Geraldton. We specialize in speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, and dietetics services. Our primary clients are children with developmental delays and disabilities, but we also service clients of all ages. We support NDIS participants and private clients to achieve their goals using family-centered, evidence-based, and strengths-based approaches. Our team also provides services to remote areas of the Midwest region via direct service provision and telehealth.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Speech Pathologist based in Geraldton, WA, with some work from home allowed. The Speech Pathologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and language disorders, including speech and dysphagia. Duties include creating and implementing treatment plans, working with families and other professionals, maintaining accurate records, and participating in regular team meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology
- Experience with Communication Disorders and Language Disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and families
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
- Flexibility to work both in-office and remotely
- Registration with relevant professional bodies (e.g., Speech Pathology Australia)
