Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical advice and manage the development and implementation of strategies for municipal infrastructure and capital works projects.
* Oversee infrastructure maintenance programs, including funding, quality control, and compliance with relevant standards.

* Liaise with stakeholders to ensure successful project management, strategic direction, and strong relationships.
* Support the Manager of Engineering & Works in decision-making and engineering matters.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives and the development of policies, procedures, and technical documents for Engineering Services.
Requirements:
* Significant experience in local government, particularly in civil engineering or a related discipline, with a focus on infrastructure projects and capital works.
* Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
* Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
* Experience in civil construction.
* Strong knowledge of local government regulations and Australian standards.
* Competency in using engineering software (e.g., Auto CAD, Civil CAD).
* Advanced Worksite Traffic Management accreditation.
* Proficiency in engineering project management.
* Experience in contract management, procurement, and dealing with contractors.
* Knowledge of asset management and infrastructure planning.

* Competitive annual salary of $95,000 - $100,000.
* Superannuation matching up to 14%.

* 4 weeks of annual leave with leave loading and 2 weeks personal leave.
