The Opportunity

We have an opportunity available for an Urban Planner to join our team in Melbourne.

You will be delivering planning services on projects across transport, maritime, water, and built environments.

Projects may include discrete studies or plans and can influence any stage of the project life cycle.

This role will deliver city shaping Level Crossing Removal Projects in Melbourne. We also have other project opportunities - let us help you reach your goals.

Your Role

You will develop good relationships with clients, statutory authorities and internal stakeholders.

You will manage the provision of planning and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to come up with creative solutions to deliver high quality outcomes for our clients.

The environment team is focused on empowerment, passionate collaboration and achieving excellence.

About You

You are excited by delivering iconic projects with key clients.

You have demonstrated your ability to work closely with consultants and development teams in delivery of projects and proposals for a range of clients and infrastructure types.

You understand the importance of maintaining professional networks within the company and across broader industry and building strong relationships with government departments and industry stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in planning
  • Demonstrated planning experience in Victoria and working knowledge of the VPP and planning legislation
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Eligibility for membership of a professional association
