The role of Procurement Officer, APS5, Corporate - Finance is a high-priority position that requires expert advice and assurance on ACCC procurement and contract processes. To succeed in this role, you will need to have demonstrated experience and strong understanding of the application of the Commonwealth Government procurement framework.

About You
  • Demonstrated experience undertaking end-to-end procurement that includes reviewing and providing constructive advice on procurement plans, approval minutes, contracts and evaluation reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in contributing to continuous improvement by updating intranet pages and delivering training.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing several competing priorities and strategic directions.
What You Will Do
  • Provide expert advice and assurance on ACCC procurement and contract processes including the development and compliance review of procurement plans and minutes, request for tender documentation, panel arrangements, evaluations, negotiations, probity matters, contracts, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Respond to advice requests in a timely professional manner, escalating sensitive or complex issues to the team where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, business stakeholders and external entities to achieve service delivery outcomes.
