Associate Director

A leading global professional services consultancy seeks an experienced Associate Director to join its Sydney-based team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering high-profile projects within the property and buildings sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled structural engineer to lead and manage complex projects, working closely with clients to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate in a market-facing role, handling ongoing communication and effective professional relationships with local clients.
  • Manage the scope of works, ensuring timely and quality delivery of civil engineering projects in alignment with relevant technical, commercial, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers, promoting continual professional development.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contribute to proposal preparation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a project leader in the property and buildings sector on large or complex projects.
  • Well-versed in delivering multiple concurrent projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, mixed-use, education, and health.
  • Technical expertise in all-round structural engineering design, including post-tensioned concrete.
  • Typically 12 to 15+ years' industry experience.
