About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our Home and Community Care team in the Gosford area. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support at Home: Provide assistance with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation to enable our clients to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
  • Personal Care: Assist with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and mealtime support to promote our clients' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients on appointments and shopping trips, ensuring their safe and timely arrival.
  • Social and Wellbeing: Engage with clients in social activities, such as outings and Healthy Living for Seniors programs, to promote their social connections and overall wellbeing.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification is highly regarded.
  • Previous experience in client-centered care, preferably in a home care or aged care setting.
  • Current First Aid certificate and a valid driver's license with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
