Job Description:

The Fitness Club Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day success of our fitness club. This position drives sales and revenue growth, provides leadership and supervision to personal trainers and group fitness instructors.

We are seeking an energetic and passionate professional who can achieve targets and thrive in a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and recruiting a high-performing personal training team and have a proven ability to create strong relationships with members.

A key responsibility of this role is marketing management, including social media campaigns, to drive membership growth. The Fitness Club Operations Manager must also maintain gym standards, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to OH&S protocols.

This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to recruit and manage a high-performing team. A minimum Certificate III in Fitness or equivalent qualification is required, along with current First Aid certification and CPR.

The successful candidate will be supported by our inclusive and active franchisees, as well as staff from our other locations and head office network.

  • Marketing Management: Drive membership growth through effective social media strategies
  • Recruitment: Hire and manage personal trainers, group fitness instructors, and other gym staff
  • Maintenance: Ensure the gym meets high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
  • Administration: Manage reporting, budget planning, contractor invoicing, and other administrative tasks
