Technical Director Summary
As a seasoned Technical Director, you will oversee the development of our group marketplace platform, driving its growth, scalability, and performance.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead one or more engineering squads, collaborating with delivery and architecture teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. You will engage with stakeholders across banners, architecture, and group IT to align technology standards.
Key Objectives:
- Own key roadmap priorities and support their implementation
- Contribute to tech strategy, ensuring most effective and modern approaches
Responsibilities:
Software Development Leadership
- Lead software development using .NET stack, including C#, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful APIs
Leadership Experience
- Proven success in a leadership role within a technology-driven startup or corporate environment
Technical Expertise
- Strong experience in defining robust integration contracts and automating validation of these
Cloud Solutions Architect
- Good understanding of developing scalable cloud solutions across one or more major platforms
Database Management
- Solid understanding of both NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and MongoDB and relational databases
