Job Title: Dispatch Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to contribute to the effective operation of our mine control room, providing tactical shift oversight and executing the shift plan to improve overall production safely and efficiently.

This role requires strong alignment with our safety culture and performance standards to create enduring value beyond mining.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in optimizing mining activities by providing operational coordination through fleet management systems, working closely with the shift management team, production, drill & blast, and Maintenance Supervisors and Leading Hands.

You will also ensure equipment stoppages and delays are planned and coordinated to minimize impact on the production cycle, coordinate and monitor equipment operator breaks, refueling, and planned maintenance in line with the shift plan.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will contribute to procedures and documentation to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our dispatch operations, liaise with the crew, dispatch technician, and supervisor to maintain and ensure the proper functioning of technology infrastructure, systems, and main data references.

A high level of safety awareness and work behaviors is mandatory, along with excellent written and oral communication skills. Previous experience with Komatsu and Caterpillar fleets in an operational context is highly regarded. Experience working with Wenco, Modular, Jigsaw, or MineStar systems is also desirable.

A valid Driver's License is essential for this role, as you will need to drive company vehicles as required.
