Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver and assess training aligned with VET and curriculum requirements.
  2. Develop and maintain student learning programs and resources.
  3. Support student engagement, attendance, and outcomes.
  4. Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance documentation.
  5. Liaise with industry and participate in curriculum development and validation.
  6. Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
  7. Promote and participate in continuous improvement and professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma of Nursing or higher qualification and current AHPRA registration, or CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged/Disability) or higher aged care qualification.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
  • Recent experience in aged care and/or disability services, with a focus on aged care.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and learner-centred teaching.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and ICT skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
  • Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (desirable).
