We are seeking a Senior Leasing Officer to join our team. This APS 6 role is responsible for delivering the department's strategic approach to its property portfolio, covering property lease acquisitions, management, and disposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of leasing strategies to support asset management priorities and property efficiencies.
- Prepare written submissions, briefs, reports, and other correspondence with stakeholders to support property-related decisions.
- Maintain leasing data to support management of the department's property portfolio, ensuring contract compliance and optimisation of the property portfolio.
Requirements
- Exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures.
- Leasing experience at a Senior Level is desired, preferably within federal government departments.
- Provide accurate advice including anticipating problems and contributing to issues management.
This role offers a competitive salary of up to $52ph + super, starting immediately. As this is a federal government role, you will need to be an Australian Citizen to apply. You will also have the ability to gain security checks (pre-engagement check, baseline clearance or higher).
