Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Direct and manage the long-term strategic growth and development of the 2D Department.
  • Project Management: Provide leadership and guidance on any projects that the 2D department is involved with.
  • Talent Management: Manage all 2D artists' career progress by supporting their creative, technical, and personal development.
  • Technical Expertise: Work with other HOD's and HOWs to continually explore new technology options and consult with the Head of Technology about the feasibility for testing and implementation.
  • Client Management: Build a strong client base by sourcing and developing relationships with young creative talent and clients on their own projects.
Requirements
  • Leadership Skills: Strong inspirational leadership and communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Mastery of Flame and Nuke compositing software.
  • Business Acumen: Insight into emerging technology and a sharp aesthetic judgment.
  • Team Management: Self-managed and a team leader.
  • Client-Facing: Ability to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Reports to: Head of Creative.
