Job Summary
We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse who is motivated, reliable, and passionate about aged care to work in Northam and surrounding towns. As an Enrolled Nurse with Right at Home Kalgoorlie Wheatbelt, you will be responsible for providing quality in-home care and assistance to our large client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality in-home care and assistance to clients, ensuring their needs, goals, and preferences are met.
- Assess, plan, and review care plans as required, ensuring services are client-focused and consumer-directed.
- Liaise with clients, family members, staff, and stakeholders to ensure services are provided in accordance with client needs.
- Manage inside and outside sales enquiries, develop and maintain new and existing referral sources.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a similar role for coordinating consumer-directed care services to Govt funded HCP clients.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Act.
- Advanced communication skills and the ability to model a positive culture and strong values through a professional service.
- Demonstrated understanding of the changing and diverse needs of clients.
- Reliable fully insured vehicle.
- Drivers License.
- Australian National Police check.
- First Aid and CPR.
- Previous experience with rostering is highly desirable.
- Experience with managing staff.
- Excellent networking and consultation skills to develop new referral sources and relationships with appropriate external organisations.
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the aged care industry and its regulations.
