This is a high-level senior system administration position within the health procurement division. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the health procurement system, ensuring it meets the required standards and functionality for Northern Territory Health.
About the RoleThe Senior System Administrator will be responsible for providing expert technical advice and guidance to stakeholders on system issues, as well as liaising with vendors and other departments during issue resolution and updates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise daily system administration and ensure the system operates within established parameters.
- Provide timely and accurate advice and reporting to stakeholders on system issues and progress.
- Liaise with system vendors, interface middleware providers, and relevant departments to resolve system issues and implement updates.
- Coordinate and facilitate testing on upgrades and fixes to ensure seamless system operation.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A strong background in system administration, preferably at a mid-senior level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with stakeholders and vendors.
