Job Description:
A Engineering Supervisor is required to oversee and plan the activities of a group of personnel involved in drafting and design. This individual will serve as a liaison between engineering disciplines, space planners, and the drafting department to ensure seamless integration of the team's scope.
The supervisor will be responsible for managing multiple design projects at various lifecycle stages to meet deliverables, while ensuring that quality site and project deliverables are produced to support the customer's critical mission set.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other software in conformance with requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria
  • Review completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes, design data and site standards
  • Coordinate the efforts of the group with other functional areas as well as outside contractors
  • Mentor junior drafters/designers and develop a training program for the department
  • Understand various analytical requirements, business concepts and principles, business financial terminology and measures
Qualifications:
  • Associate Engineering Degree or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • 3+ years' experience in supervisor capacity or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • Good understanding of sound construction practices and basic architectural, civil, structural, electrical, fire, and mechanical design
  • Ability to read and interpret various designs, diagrams, and schematics
