Senior SAP BTP Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned technology expert to fill the role of Senior SAP BTP Consultant. In this position, you will work on transformative projects that showcase the practical application of SAP solutions to enhance our clients' day-to-day operations.

You will be accountable for designing, developing, and extending new applications on SAP BTP tools and consulting SAP development teams on architecture- and application-development-related topics.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using SAP BTP
  • Design, develop, and customize applications on SAP BTP, including but not limited to SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), SAP Fiori, SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
  • Identify technology limitations and deficiencies in legacy systems and associated processes, procedures, and methods
  • Ensure document guidelines for development best practices are current and adhered to
  • Support tender responses by providing technical expertise on various solutions and architectures
  • Support the pre-sales activities by providing technical input, workshops with prospective customers, and estimating work

Requirements

  • 6 - 12 years of experience in SAP Consulting and delivery, with a minimum of 3 years in delivering BTP-related consulting services.
  • Proven ability to lead engagements or people
  • Development experience in SAP CAP, BTP Extensions will be highly regarded, with experience in BTP RAP, connectivity, destination, workflow, HANA Cloud, or XSUAA services an advantage
  • Understanding of Cloud Native development principles and methodologies
  • Familiar with microservices and associated SaaS applications on SAP BTP
  • Proven ability to navigate evolving technologies and align solutions with dynamic business requirements
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively
  • Good understanding and experience of project delivery methodologies like agile and scrum
  • Experience in mentoring and training junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with additional cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is an advantage but not required
  • Experience in SAP CX Solutions, such as Commerce, Sales, and Service Cloud, or SAP ERP
