As the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere, Perisher is located in the picturesque Snowy Mountains region. In this position, you will support the Health, Safety and Environment team in managing health, safety, and environmental practices while promoting continuous improvement.
Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with incident and injury documentation
- Conducting safety assessments throughout the resort
- Performing waste management audits and inspections
- Supporting wildlife management efforts
- Analyzing data for reporting purposes
- Preparing HSE-related communications
To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:
- A valid driver's license and the ability to ski or snowboard
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations
- Familiarity with ski area operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety or Environmental Science are highly desirable
