About the Role


This is a fantastic opportunity to work with Yunex Traffic, a leading company in the field of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). As a Civil Road Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and inspection of ITS assets, ancillary equipment, and other highways electrical systems.



Key Responsibilities



  • Conduct construction and reconstruction of ITS assets, such as Traffic Control Signals (TCS), Variable Message Signs (VMS), and Hazard warning signs (AWS, VSLS), in accordance with Yunex Traffic's legislative and customer contractual requirements.
  • Perform preparatory work for equipment installation, including Traffic Signal Controllers and vehicle detection systems.
  • Install or modify new and existing ITS assets.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of new equipment and systems.
  • Liaise with customers and other contractors on site.
  • Ensure works are completed in a timely manner and to a high-quality level, adhering to site specifications.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to the Company Health and Safety Policy and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably required for the role.


Requirements



  • Hold a valid driver's license, preferably MR/HR.
  • Hold an OH&S White Card and have a sound understanding of industry OH&S requirements.
  • Be flexible with working hours.
  • Possess strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to commute to Rydalmere, NSW 2116.

Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with Traffic Signal Infrastructure or pit & pipe work.
  • Excavator experience and VOC.
  • Rigger & Dogmen VOC.
  • Current First Aid certificate.
