Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Metalwork Assistant to join our team in a busy, all-in-house metalwork environment. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and be eager to learn new skills.

This is a fast-paced role that requires physical fitness and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. As a Manufacturing Metalwork Assistant, you will be working across various departments, assisting with production tasks and ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting site installation teams on various projects
  • Supporting powder coating and sandblasting departments
  • Forklift operation (if licensed)
  • Packing and preparing final products for dispatch
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Cutting steel and general metalwork assistance
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or metalwork environment
  • Physically fit and able to handle the demands of a fast-paced workplace
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Reliable, honest, and proactive
  • White Card (construction induction card) required
  • Manual Driver's License highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn
