Our client, a reputable venture capital firm, is seeking a seasoned Investor Relations professional to drive growth in the SEA region. With an ambitious vision, they aim to capitalize on untapped opportunities despite the slow economic turn.

Job Description

This mid-senior candidate will report directly to the partners and be responsible for supporting fund raising to LPs and current portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will serve as the focal point of communication between current and potential investors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead future fund raising efforts, targeting both local and global investors.
  • Support partners in creating a compelling strategy and framework for investor engagement.
  • Develop and prepare fund models, roadmaps, presentations, prospectuses, and other required data and documentation.
  • Prepare updates on quarterly portfolio performance, investment results, and investor newsletters.
  • Collaborate closely with the investment and operations teams to understand company strategy.
  • Prepare detailed performance reports for investors and assist in developing marketing materials, presentations, and pitch decks.
  • Organize and facilitate investor meetings, calls, and events.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with existing investors while identifying new opportunities for investment.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry developments that may impact investors.

Requirements

  • At least 6-8 years of experience in investor relations, fund-raising, venture capital, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, preferably in Finance, Business, Management, or Investment.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa and English.
  • Strong knowledge of investment, private equity, and/or venture capital is preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and pitch book building.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to local and regional settings.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to create engaging and impactful conversations.
  • Understanding of capital market trends, industry dynamics, and customer trends.
