About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Design Drafter to join our team at Engenuity Engineering. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural designs and drafting services for a variety of projects, including large residential, office buildings, units and apartments, health care, and mid-rise buildings locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist input into structural engineering tasks, including verification of documentation.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor works undertaken and check conditions.
  • Liaise with team to maintain a knowledge and understanding of trends and technology in structural drafting.
  • Provide team input, leadership, and mentoring direction for drafting elements of projects undertaken by the company.
  • Collaborate with architects, design team, project managers and other engineering professionals.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards or vulnerabilities in structures for potential impact on safety and functionality.
About You
  • Minimum 5-years experience, as a Structural Design Drafter.
  • Diploma of Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Excellent Understanding of Aust standards across: Residential, Multi-Residential and Commercial Projects.
  • A level of knowledge & drive to implement new systems & technologies within the drafting teams.
