About the Role

You will collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future-ready outcomes that benefit clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with project planning and preparation of technical deliverables
  • Conduct shallow ground geophysical surveys using various techniques
  • Participate in over-water geophysical surveys, including seismic reflection and resistivity data collection
  • Manage fieldwork during geophysics investigations and ensure safety on site
  • Process and interpret data using industry-standard geophysical interpretation software
  • Integrate geophysical and geotechnical data
  • Maintain and calibrate geophysical equipment
  • Use initiative and judgment to resolve problems
  • Identify safety hazards and report incidents
  • Liaise with specialists from other disciplines or offices within WSP
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management ability
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently autonomously and in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Flexibility to work in the field for extended periods, sometimes in remote areas
  • Australian drivers' license
  • Bachelor of Science or related discipline, majoring in geophysics
  • Postgraduate qualification in geophysics preferred but not essential
