Mental Health Clinician Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our specialist multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing integrated care to women, their infants, partners and families experiencing perinatal and infant mental health problems.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver innovative programs that provide high-level clinical care to consumers in groups, and an individual basis across a variety of acute specialties.
- Delivers advanced level clinical services including a range of individualised and group clinical care based on professional training reflecting current ethical clinical practice as required
- Provides comprehensive assessment and care planning monitoring at an advanced level for complex and general caseloads
- Ensures effective multidisciplinary team work through professional communication and comprehensive liaison with colleagues, patient/carers and service providers
- Liaises with compensable bodies, financial institutions and external care agencies where appropriate
- Liaises with the multi-disciplinary team to promote effective communication including verbal and written feedback to referring doctors
Applicants must have tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy and hold current registration with the relevant professional body (AASW / AHPRA). A Medicare provider number is also a requirement.
The ideal candidate will possess experience running groups and providing individual therapy, and commit to delivering patient-centric care that aligns with our Mission and Values.
