Behaviour Support Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of individuals with diverse needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of behaviour support principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering person-centred services.

Job Description:

The successful applicant will work closely with clients, families, and support teams to develop and implement tailored training packages that promote positive behaviours and improve quality of life.

This role requires a high level of independence, creativity, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Must meet the requirements as a Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Capability Framework at CORE or PROFICIENT level.
  • Demonstrated experience working in behaviour support, backed by references that reflect integrity, commitment, and impact.
  • Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Mental Health, or a related field, and membership with a recognised professional body is required.
  • Confident in preparing, delivering, and evaluating tailored training packages for individuals or support teams.
  • Thinks creatively, works well independently, and loves solving problems that help people live more meaningful, inclusive lives.
  • Practice is underpinned by the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines, and committed to least-restrictive, person-centred support.
