Behavioural Support Role

The Centre for Positive Behaviour Support is a globally recognised organisation dedicated to making behaviour support services accessible to all. We champion a person-centered approach, specialising in thorough assessments and customised support plans that truly meet individual needs.

This role empowers us to design and implement impactful programs that enhance the learning and development of our participants. This includes conducting assessments, writing behavioural support plans and programmes, assisting with the implementation of plans and supervision of other practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make positive changes to the lives of others by developing and maintaining relationships">
  • Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions">
  • Develop Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support Plans">
  • Provide support and training to colleagues, caregivers support workers on clinical techniques">

Requirements:

">

A bachelor's degree and/or post graduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support are essential. Hold or can obtain an NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check. Proven experience as either a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst or Behaviour Therapist is also required.
