Lead Facilitator for Youth Justice Conferences

As a Lead Facilitator for Youth Justice Conferences, you will play a pivotal role in preparing and facilitating conferences that uphold the principles of restorative justice. This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and their families.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support a diverse range of participants. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with local police, community groups, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and referrals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing for and facilitating Youth Justice Conferences in accordance with established protocols.
- Developing and maintaining effective communication channels with conference participants, including parents, young people, victims, and support services.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and outcomes.
- Providing guidance and support to participants throughout the conference process.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, including incident reports and participant feedback.
Requirements for this role include:
- Possession of a minimum Provisional 2 NSW Driver's licence.
- National Criminal History Check clearance.
- Access to your own personal computer with internet access and mobile phone.
- NSW Working with Children Check Clearance (WWCC).
