The Opportunity

We are seeking a Drill Operator to join our operation at the Pilgangoora site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating drilling and ancillary equipment in a safe, effective, and efficient manner to meet operational requirements.

This is a permanent position with an 8/6 (day shift) or 7/7 (night shift) roster.

Responsibilities

  • Operate drilling and ancillary equipment within the shift to ensure optimum productivity in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Contribute to and participate in a flexible and motivated production crew, committed to achieving quality production goals.
  • Maintain occupational health and safety standards relevant to operations.
  • Ensure occupational health and safety issues are considered in all aspects of duties performed.
  • Perform all tasks in a professional and diligent manner and treat others with dignity, respect, and fairness.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • 2 years' operating experience with drilling and blasting equipment in a large open pit mining operation.
  • A current HR Driver's Licence.
  • Self-motivation and discipline.
  • Sound communication skills.
