About the Role

We are seeking a Financial Operations Officer to join our Finance team based in Melrose Park. The role will focus on reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, purchase orders and general finance administrative duties.

This role will suit someone who is either starting their career, has some experience and wants to develop their skills, or is looking for an opportunity to move into a finance environment. Those with a passion for numbers are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of general finance principles, including Goods and Services Tax using a purchase order system and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with internal and external audits relating to customer expenditure information.
  • Monthly completion of account reconciliations for client expenditure and reimbursements.
  • Process invoices within an accounting system, process customer expenditure and subsequent reimbursement requests in an online Expense Management System.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the desire to deliver a high level of service to internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills and an ability to work efficiently and meet strict time frames.
  • Work collaboratively in a team.

A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience.

As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
