Highly Experienced Geotechnical Expert

HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. Based in Adelaide CBD, this full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of $70.96 including casual loading for a duration of 6 months.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity will see you provide technical support and lead studies for the Geotechnical discipline. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Principal Engineer to deliver Geotechnical projects and maintain technical standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct high-level technical investigations, design reviews, and advisory services in Geotechnical engineering.
- Support the development and implementation of Geotechnical projects, ensuring compliance with Safety in Design (SiD) processes.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including contractors and vendors, to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Assist in the development and review of technical and infrastructure standards.
- Contribute to innovation and adoption of emerging technologies within the Geotechnical discipline.
- Tertiary Civil or Geotechnical Engineering qualification is essential; postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
- Affiliation and recognition of discipline expertise by Engineers Australia are also desirable.
- You will have sound knowledge of Geotechnical engineering procedures and practices as applied to the water industry and large engineering organisations.
- Your experience in investigation, option, concept, and detailed design of Geotechnical infrastructure associated with the water industry at a high professional level is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in executing novel, complex, and critical engineering investigations and designs in the Geotechnical discipline is required.
- You should have experience in developing and reviewing technical and infrastructure standards.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams are essential.
