Healthcare Professional - Nursing Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop comprehensive care plans, and deliver high-quality nursing care to promote resident independence.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and supervision to support the growth and development of our carers, assistants in nursing, and enrolled nurses.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to strict infection control and workplace health and safety protocols.
  • Prepare and present accurate written and verbal reports on resident social, physical, and emotional well-being to inform clinical decisions.

Requirements

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical nursing practice, with a strong understanding of contemporary nursing theory and care documentation models.
  • Generalist registered nursing experience, with knowledge of aged care – highly desirable.
  • The ability to quickly understand and apply relevant aged care legislated standards into daily practice.
  • Relevant probity checks as required by legislation and policy.
  • Proof of vaccination status as required by legislation, health directives, or policy throughout employment and prior to commencement.
