Clinical Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Manager to join our team in the Sydney Local Health District. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services across the district.
As a Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to clinical staff, collaborating with operational, corporate, and clinical leaders to achieve our goals, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the organization.
You will have extensive experience in leading teams and managing services, supported by a relevant tertiary management qualification and/or work experience. You will also possess a strong understanding of clinical governance and current nursing/midwifery, medical, and health issues pertaining to the Stream.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of patients and families, while contributing to the development of innovative solutions to complex healthcare challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to clinical staff
- Collaborate with operational, corporate, and clinical leaders to achieve goals
- Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the organization
- Develop and implement business, strategic, and operational plans
- Manage services and lead teams
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Extensive recent management experience
- Relevant tertiary management qualification and/or work experience
- Demonstrated experience with development and implementation of business, strategic, and operational plans
