Care Assistant
About the RoleChurches of Christ Queensland are seeking Care Assistants to work in our Residential Aged Care home at Hervey Bay. As a Care Assistant, you will assist with food preparation, service and cleaning tasks within the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation and presentation for residents
- Maintain a clean environment in the kitchen and surrounding areas
- Set up dining rooms for meals and break down after use
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in commercial food preparation and/or cleaning
- A strong knowledge of safe food hygiene practices and kitchen safety
- Currently hold, or willing to obtain, a current Police Check
- A variety of shifts available, ideally having availability across day and afternoon shifts
- Hold valid Australian Work Rights
