Job Title: Supportive Learning Assistant

In this rewarding role, you will support students across Years 7–12 in their learning and wellbeing.

  • Work closely with students and small groups to foster engagement and achievement.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop tailored learning strategies and support plans for students with diverse needs.
  • Deliver high-quality learning support by reinforcing skills, concepts, and instructions in class activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student support and contribute to progress monitoring.

This position requires a professional with strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and patience to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and other staff members. You will be responsible for:

  • Building positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Supporting students with diverse learning needs through effective communication and adaptability.
  • Managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a calm and dependable demeanor.
  • Utilizing technology to enhance learning and administration processes.

Requirements:

  • Working with Children Check (South Australia).
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
