Job Description:

As a seasoned construction professional, you will lead and coordinate on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and with exceptional quality. This senior site-based role involves direct responsibility for managing teams, resources, and site performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee site operations with a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring compliance with best practice standards.
  • Manage and mentor site staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Plan and control site construction activities for maximum productivity and resource efficiency.
  • Maintain quality assurance and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Monitor construction programs, providing regular updates on progress.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager on operational issues affecting timelines, cost, or delivery.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, authorities, and consultants.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Building & Construction (minimum).
  • At least 6+ years of experience in a Site Manager role on high-rise construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects valued over $50M.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings, providing constructive design feedback.
  • Exceptional organisational, leadership, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written communication and administration skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional, proactive, and able to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
