About the Position
An exciting opportunity exists to take on a role as a Classroom Teacher Assistant for children aged 4.5-6 years old.
The successful candidate would be adaptable, highly motivated, and dedicated to student outcomes.
The position involves assisting alongside an experienced and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- To uphold a strong commitment to the Montessori method in a modern learning environment.
- To work collaboratively with the School Team, teachers, and assistants to create a consistent educational offering.
- To demonstrate flexibility and agility.
- To show initiative and a proactive attitude.
- To have an interest in STEM subjects and incorporate Indigenous perspectives into the curriculum (desired).
Essential Qualifications
- A Child Protection qualification approved by QLD Regulatory Authority – valid Working with Children Check.
- Certification in HLTAID004 Provide first aid in an education and care setting.
