Corporate Lawyer Opportunity

This is a unique chance for an experienced corporate lawyer to take on a key role in our Corporate and Capital Markets team at Clayton Utz.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated corporate lawyer with a strong background in law to work on domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and other corporate and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex transactions from start to finish
  • Engage with clients across a broad range of sectors
  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers
Requirements
  • At least 7 years' experience post-qualification experience within a reputable corporate law practice;
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior corporate lawyer role (or equivalent) with the ability to take a lead role on transactions and drive matters forward;
  • Excellent drafting skills;
  • Strong client service focus and exceptional work ethic;
  • Genuine team player with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
  • A passion for mentoring junior lawyers and providing timely feedback to aid their development.
