About the Role

Our team is dedicated to providing quality support and services to individuals with mental health conditions. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Support Worker.

The successful candidate will provide client-focused, community-oriented, and sensitive support to individuals living in supported accommodation. This will include assisting clients with daily living skills, promoting personal hygiene, and educating them on healthy living habits.

We are looking for an individual who is able to think and act calmly, dealing sensitively with distressed people. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Cert IV in mental health or community services related discipline, and experience in working with people experiencing mental illness.

The role involves increasing access and equity for clients within a collaborative recovery model of psychosocial rehabilitation. It also requires the ability to mentor clients in building productive relationships and using effective conflict resolution strategies.

Key Requirements
