About the Procurement Role

We are seeking a full-time, permanent Procurement Officer to join our organisation.

The role involves collaborating with internal teams to understand procurement requirements and ensuring alignment of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain quotes and negotiate pricing with existing suppliers to secure cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier information using data analysis skills.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders to approved vendors to ensure smooth inventory management.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Purchasing or Procurement position, preferably with a background in supply chain management.
  • Intermediate Excel skills and data analysis ability required to track and report on procurement metrics.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
