High Voltage Rail Electrician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled High Voltage Rail Electrician to join our Rostered Maintenance Crews on either a FIFO 8/8 or 6/6 roster. The successful candidate will be responsible for the scheduled maintenance of locomotives and rolling stock, diagnostics and repairs of diesel electric drive systems, electrical component installation and replacement, as well as breakdown diagnostics and repairs.
]Key Responsibilities:- Scheduled locomotive and rolling stock maintenance
- Diagnostics, fault finding and repairs of diesel electric drive systems such as EMD and GE
- Drive system component diagnostics and repairs
- Dynamic brake testing and commissioning
- Electrical component installation, replacement and repairs
- Electrical and mechanical breakdown diagnostics and repairs, including replacements of traction motors, alternators, engine and power assemblies, air compressors and blower motors.
