Collections Specialists play a vital role in our commercial recovery process, helping small businesses succeed by resolving outstanding balances through effective communication and negotiation skills.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a late-stage recoveries portfolio, making and taking a high volume of calls to resolve outstanding balances.
  • Skip trace accounts to gain new information and contact customers with a customer-centric approach.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with third parties, including field agents and solicitors.
  • Liaise with third parties, adhering to all legislative and internal policy guidelines.
  • Assess financial hardship applications and find resolutions that benefit both parties.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a financial services collections role, with a focus on late-stage collections and skip tracing.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and handle objections while negotiating, with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
