Pharmacy Support Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Support Professional to join our team at Slade Pharmacy Kings Meadows. This permanent full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment, providing excellent customer service and supporting our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process sales and handle point-of-sale transactions accurately, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency
- Assist in preparing prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist, adhering to strict quality and safety standards
- Maintain stock levels by unpacking orders, restocking shelves, and rotating stock, ensuring optimal inventory management
- Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
- Answer general customer queries and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist, providing accurate and timely information
- Support administrative tasks such as labelling, filing, and stocktaking, contributing to the smooth operation of the pharmacy
- Promote pharmacy products and services in line with customer needs, driving sales and increasing customer satisfaction

- Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, can-do attitude, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
- Experience in retail or hospitality roles, with a strong understanding of customer service principles
- Interest in supporting patient care and pharmacy operations, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development
- Desirable: Prior experience in pharmacy operations, with knowledge of pharmacy software and systems
