Pharmacy Assistant – Slade Pharmacy Kings Meadows, Launceston, TAS. Permanent full-time role in a retail pharmacy at Slade Pharmacy Kings Meadows.
What You'll Do- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process sales and handle point-of-sale transactions accurately
- Assist in preparing prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain stock levels by unpacking orders, restocking shelves, and rotating stock
- Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Answer general customer queries and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist
- Support administrative tasks such as labelling, filing, and stocktaking
- Promote pharmacy products and services in line with customer needs
- Permanent Australian working rights
- Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Experience in retail or hospitality roles
- Interest in supporting patient care and pharmacy operations
- Desirable: Prior experience in pharmacy operations
