Seeking Casual Educators

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) as Casual Educators.

Our Outside School Hours Care services provide a fun and engaging environment for children aged 5-12 years, where they can participate in various activities such as STEM, sport, cooking, art, and craft.

As a Casual Educator, you will work within our services at primary schools in the hours before and after school, supporting the development of children through play. You will be part of a team that fosters healthy relationships with children, schools, communities, and parents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating child-centered programs that promote learning and engagement
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Participating in light cleaning duties and paperwork, with full training provided

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Enjoy working with children
  • Strong and clear communication skills
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check and a state check for working with children
  • Australian work rights
  • Availability for a minimum of 3 afternoons per week from 2pm - 5pm
  • Meet ACECQA requirements for 1st or 2nd Qualified Educator in ACT or be willing to obtain
