Job Responsibilities

You will join a team providing support to older people, individuals with disabilities in home settings, residential establishments and hospitals. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting clients with health issues and daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, eating, transport and budgeting.
  • Assisting clients during domestic activities like eating meals and showering.
  • Providing companionship and support during daily activities.
  • Cooking, serving meals, cleaning premises, washing, ironing and performing household tasks.
  • Assisting with self-medication.
Requirements

We seek a patient, flexible individual with a supportive nature. You should have experience supporting people with disabilities, a commitment to their rights to live dignified lives, good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
